Morgan was not a man of decency. He did not care about Tesla, nor his hard work. Morgan had the audacity to not acknowledge Tesla’s hard work and care for the less fortunate. Morgan also did not agree with Tesla. This essay will argue the fact Morgan was a selfish and cold-hearted man that only cared for money. Tesla was also a great inventor, but he did not receive the credit he deserved.

J.P. Morgan – does the name sound familiar to you? He is known as a powerful banker and a very successful one. However, the truth of the matter is that his only motive was to make money. He only thought about his own well-being and profit. It’s true that he helped build railroads back in the early 1900s. But it was never to benefit the people of his country or community. In the end, he was only concerned about his own profits and himself. Commoners had accused him of being too powerful and of manipulating America’s financial system. Some people might not want that truth to be known because they believe in him and what he has done, but there’s no way of changing it. He only ever purchased small companies, created a monopoly and killed small businesses. The power he was given was far too great for him to handle. He destroyed other people’s lives to benefit himself.

Nikola Tesla, a man with a passion for the good of all. Tesla, a Serbian-American inventor, electrical and mechanical engineer, futurist, was best known for the design of the modern alternating voltage electricity supply. Tesla worked on the project for over a decade, improving Edison’s designs while also adding new features. Tesla’s argument with Edison led to his resignation from Edison because of the promised $25 per weekly payment. Tesla developed the principles that lead to the invention of wireless telegraphy devices, radar, televisions, diathermy and x-ray treatments. Tesla also created electrical lighting, remote controlled weapons, and a variety of other electronic devices. Also, he designed a vast number of electric motors and coils. He predicted even the wristwatches radio, electron microscopes and the atom destroying cyclotron. Tesla was born on the midnight of July 9th or 10th, 1856. His parents were Rev. Milutin Tesla was born in Smiljan to Diouka Tesla, his wife. The village was then located in the Austro Hungarian border province Lika. It is now part Yugoslavia. He spent his childhood in an agricultural area near the Adriatic Sea.

Tesla was better than Thomas Edison. Many people will argue that he doesn’t deserve credit for what happened with him in the past. He didn’t just do things for money. He also cared about others. Tesla was credited for creating many things, but he got little or no attention. Tesla helped to create electricity, for instance. Thomas Edison has been credited for the invention of electricity. Tesla developed a much more cost-effective, efficient and effective system of alternating current to replace Edison’s direct voltage electric power supply system. Tesla told Edison to redesign Edison’s DC motors and gensets. Edison offered Tesla $50,000 if he was successful. Edison snubbed Tesla after he achieved his goal.

Nikola Tesla was 86 years old when he died. He died alone, without his wife or children. A maid discovered his body two days after he died, in a hotel. He had dedicated his life to furthering science. Tesla spent his final years alone and broke, living off Nabisco and warm milk. While his genius had been recognized in his lifetime, Tesla’s name was forgotten after his passing. Those who envied him took advantage of his brilliance. The greed and ignorant nature of humans prevented the success of his most brilliant ideas. Many decades passed before he received any credit at all for his innovations.
