In conclusion,

An opening

An internet network that allows users to have access to almost all information in the world from any computer at any given time. The internet’s impact has been profound on communication, entertainments, politics, economics, politics and major political events (Chesbrough & Prencipe (2009). While the internet’s invention may not have made the world a better place than the plow, its impact is likely to be as significant as that of steam and automobile innovation.

Historical Background The origins of internet invention can be traced back at the U.S. army’s research division. DARP established ARPANET in 1960s. It was designed for military and academic research. As computers joined the planet, others followed. By the 1970s, computer scientists developed a single protocol, TCIP. This would allow computers access to other networks. Due to the strength of the internet, we are only now beginning to see its full potential. Some fear that the internet may end social interaction. However, the internet’s ability of recombine information and distribute it with remarkable efficiency and bonding with local communities can lead to social isolation.

How we use the internet will determine its influence. The internet is currently used by approximately two billion people (Tuomi (2002). The internet’s success has led to a phenomenal growth of the internet, with many new innovations that make digital communication safer and more convenient.

The internet has become a major income-generating tool for most people in the world. It has grown exponentially over the past ten years. The internet has become the mainstay of human activities. The internet is now a common tool for humans to search the meaning of complicated words or find information about products and services (Chesbrough & Prencipe 2008). Google plays a key role in the internet, which allows anyone to solve any issue or project in a matter of minutes.

Internet and Education. A majority of academics agree that education’s future will be network-based. The internet allows individuals to create and distribute knowledge information. It also gives learners the opportunity to make presentations or conduct research. The internet can be used to connect educators and learners with the help of the many learning resources available online (MacCormack, 2002).

Internet access makes information easily accessible. Also, people are now able to choose the information that they want, when and how it should be received. Individuals can now choose whether they want to be informed or not. This is a significant improvement over the traditional media that had many recipients. Without physical or time constraints, learners can interact with one another (Chesbrough 2003).

Internet and CultureThe internet has influenced a lot of the current global cultural movement and globalization of culture. Online tools offer a wide range of possibilities. The internet has made culture closer to people and makes it easier for them to access. It is also promoting new expressions of art and knowledge (Oliver 2001).

Apart from cultural sharing and movements, the internet world is crucial for innovation.

Internet and Relationships Everybody is connected in a quicker, simpler, and more accessible way. In fact, as we conduct our daily activities, our Smartphones and laptops may also allow us to engage in private relationships (Chesbrough & Prencipe, 2008).

This is a huge advantage because you can always access the internet instantly. Internet access is a great way to connect with those that matter most in our daily lives.

Internet and Consumer Patterns You can book flights, order a laptop from China, and even purchase food online. Utilizing the most recent applications can open up new business opportunities and support secure transactions within an organization (Oliver, 2001).

The customer has access to more information than ever before, and customers’ reviews about their experiences with different goods and services are given adequate attention.

The Internet and the EconomyThe internet is one of the key factors that drive today’s economy. The internet is essential for individuals, businesses and corporations. The internet has encouraged growth and improved productivity, which in turn has made it more competitive (Afuah & Associates 2001). There are many opportunities to increase economic growth through the internet. The internet is a global trend that should be followed by all businesses to in-house their online business.

Engineers make positive contributions to society Engineers can create innovative solutions that improve relationships and bring about positive changes in communities.

These could include:

* To develop applications that would allow vulnerable members of society, such as the homeless, to receive free medical checks via public telephones (telecommunications engineering).

* Enlightening members on low-cost methods to build affordable homes and public recreation facilities.

ConclusionThe internet has changed how people interact with each other, their relationships, food habits, fashion, communication, and even their eating habits. It is a disruptive innovation that has the greatest impact on society and requires radical changes in how we approach it. The internet invention has made a huge impact on the lives of many people.
